My name is Lydia Bakyekose, am a mother of four daughters and a resident of Katende, life was so hard until a friend of mine called Monica introduced me to Droha Uganda. I didn’t have any source of income yet I was expected to pay rent, school fees and feed the family since am a single mother. All that was not possible hence my children dropped out of school. But when Monica introduced me to Droha, I was registered free of charge, trained for 9 months in tailoring and after I was rewarded with a certificate and a sewing machine as my capital. The machine has helped so me so hard in paying school fees for my children rent and in addition to that Droha trained and supported my family with pre urban farming which has also changed me diet. I thank God and the support for the good job and my Almighty reward the founder.
