Who We Are
Rooted in Community. Built for Sustainable Impact.
Founded in 2013 and registered as an NGO in 2018, Droha Uganda is a community-driven organization headquartered in Bugembe, Jinja. We believe that meaningful, long-term development starts at the household level.
By equipping individuals with practical vocational skills, fostering community-led financial mechanisms like Saving With a Purpose Investment Clubs (SWIPICs), and promoting climate-smart agriculture, we restore family dynamics and build resilient livelihoods. Our work spans the districts of Jinja, Kamuli, Mayuge, and Luuka, with strategic expansion underway to reach Buyende, Kaliro, and Bugweri
